Description

Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta is a delightful fusion of comfort food that marries the savory flavors of a classic cheeseburger with creamy pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, diced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook rotini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside, leaving drippings in the pan.
  3. Sauté onion in the same skillet until translucent (about 3 minutes). Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Add ground beef to the skillet; cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  5. Lower heat; stir in heavy cream and cheddar cheese until melted and combined. Mix in ketchup and Worcestershire sauce.
  6. Fold cooked pasta and crispy bacon into the sauce until well coated. Heat for an additional two minutes before serving.
