- 8 oz rotini pasta
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 6 slices bacon, diced
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook rotini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside, leaving drippings in the pan.
- Sauté onion in the same skillet until translucent (about 3 minutes). Add garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add ground beef to the skillet; cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Lower heat; stir in heavy cream and cheddar cheese until melted and combined. Mix in ketchup and Worcestershire sauce.
- Fold cooked pasta and crispy bacon into the sauce until well coated. Heat for an additional two minutes before serving.
