- 8 sheets phyllo dough
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts and pistachios mixture)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup honey
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a bowl, mix chopped nuts, sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter until combined.
- Layer 8 sheets of phyllo dough in the pan, brushing each with melted butter.
- Sprinkle half of the nut mixture on top of the phyllo.
- In another bowl, blend cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream, eggs, lemon juice, and mix until creamy.
- Pour half the cheesecake filling over the nut layer. Repeat with more phyllo and nuts, then top with remaining filling.
- Finish with additional phyllo layers brushed with butter.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden brown; center should be slightly jiggly.
- Cool completely and drizzle with honey before serving.
