  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until translucent.
  2. Stir in mushrooms and garlic; cook until mushrooms are golden brown.
  3. Increase heat to medium-high, add beef sirloin, and brown for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the mixture, stirring for 1 minute. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Reduce heat to low; stir in sour cream until fully incorporated.
  6. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain.
