  • 8 oz wide egg noodles
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup (low-sodium)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onions and garlic over medium heat until cooked through. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Stir in cream of mushroom soup and milk; simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine the noodle mixture with the beef sauce until well coated.
  6. Layer half of the noodle mixture in a greased baking dish, top with half of the shredded cheese, then add remaining noodles and top with the rest of the cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
