  • 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups cooked ham, diced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a large baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. Layer half of the potato slices in the dish. Top with half of the diced ham, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Repeat the layers.
  3. Pour heavy cream over the top layer and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously.
  4. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 60 minutes until potatoes are tender. Remove foil in the last 10 minutes to brown the cheese.
  5. Let rest before serving.
