- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 pita breads
- 2 cups crisp lettuce, chopped
- 2 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup cucumber, sliced
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken breasts to the marinade; cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat; cook marinated chicken for about 6–7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked.
- In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt with minced garlic and season with salt and pepper.
- Slice cooked chicken into strips. Open pita pockets and fill them with fresh vegetables followed by the chicken.
- Drizzle yogurt sauce inside each pocket and serve immediately.
