Description

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 4 cups chopped green cabbage
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped (any color)
  • 3 green onions, sliced thinly
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Gather and prep all ingredients: chop cabbage, mince garlic and ginger, slice bell peppers and green onions.
  2. In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked and crumbly.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet; stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Incorporate chopped cabbage and bell peppers; stir-fry for about 5 minutes until veggies are tender yet vibrant.
  5. Pour in soy sauce and drizzle with sesame oil; toss everything to coat evenly for another couple of minutes.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles, garnished with sliced green onions.
