Description

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup whole milk (or almond milk)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth. Combine wet ingredients into dry ingredients without overmixing.
  4. For the cinnamon swirl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  5. Pour half the batter into the prepared dish; sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top. Add remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Use a knife to gently swirl together. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
