- 8 oz wide egg noodles
- 2 (5 oz) cans solid white tuna packed in water, drained
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese (divided)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water until al dente, about 7-8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, frozen peas, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix well.
- Fold the cooked noodles into the tuna mixture until fully coated.
- Transfer to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
- In a separate bowl, mix remaining cheddar cheese with breadcrumbs; sprinkle over the casserole.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
