  • 8 oz cremini or button mushrooms, sliced

  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather and prepare all ingredients: mince garlic and slice mushrooms.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper; sear until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.

  4. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet, coating with sauce, and let simmer for an additional couple of minutes.
