Description

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 cup whole milk, warmed
  • ½ cup dulce de leche (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and instant yeast. Gradually add warm milk and softened butter; mix until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth; let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  4. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle about half an inch thick. Spread dulce de leche over the surface and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  5. Roll the dough into a log shape and slice into even pieces. Arrange cut-side up in a greased baking dish.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Drizzle with extra dulce de leche before serving.
