  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup salsa (homemade or store-bought)
  • Whole grain or gluten-free buns

Instructions

  1. Rinse black beans under cold water, then mash slightly in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic.
  3. Add breadcrumbs, cumin, and smoked paprika; mix until combined.
  4. Form mixture into six patties about one inch thick.
