Description

Ground Chicken Caprese is a delightful dish that combines tender ground chicken with fresh basil, creamy mozzarella, and a tangy balsamic glaze. This vibrant meal is perfect for family dinners or casual gatherings, offering a burst of summertime flavor in every bite.

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, diced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 3 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and chop the basil. Halve cherry tomatoes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add ground chicken and cook until browned and fully cooked through.
  4. Stir in halved cherry tomatoes, salt, and pepper; cook for about 4 minutes until softened.
  5. Sprinkle diced mozzarella on top of the mixture and cover with a lid to melt.
  6. Remove from heat and mix in chopped basil. Drizzle balsamic glaze before serving.
  7. Plate while warm and garnish with extra basil if desired.
