Description

Ground Turkey and Zucchini Skillet is a vibrant, one-pan meal that combines juicy ground turkey with tender zucchini, creating a delightful dish that’s perfect for busy weeknights. Packed with flavor and nutrients, it’s a comforting favorite that your family will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 2 medium zucchinis, diced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced (any color)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by washing and chopping all vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Increase heat slightly, add ground turkey, and cook until browned (5-7 minutes), breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Stir in zucchini and bell pepper; sauté until veggies are tender but still crunchy (about 5 minutes).
  5. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  6. Cook for another couple of minutes until heated through. If using fresh basil, stir in just before serving.
