Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hazelnuts
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread hazelnuts on a baking sheet and roast for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Allow hazelnuts to cool for 5 minutes, then rub off most of the skins.
  3. In a food processor, blend hazelnuts until smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add cocoa powder, powdered sugar, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and salt; blend until well combined.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary. Blend briefly again.
  6. Transfer to an airtight jar and store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
