- 1 cup hazelnuts
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread hazelnuts on a baking sheet and roast for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow hazelnuts to cool for 5 minutes, then rub off most of the skins.
- In a food processor, blend hazelnuts until smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add cocoa powder, powdered sugar, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and salt; blend until well combined.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary. Blend briefly again.
- Transfer to an airtight jar and store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
