  • 1 packet (2¼ tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup honey

Instructions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit until foamy (5–10 minutes). Stir in melted butter and salt.
  2. 2. Gradually add flour to form a soft dough. Knead on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
  3. 3. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  4. 4. Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  5. 5. Roll tightly into a log, slice down the middle lengthwise, twist the halves together, and place in a greased loaf pan.
