Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup honey BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  3. (Optional) Sear meatballs in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned.
  4. Place meatballs in a crockpot. In a separate bowl, mix honey BBQ sauce with soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce; pour over the meatballs.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until tender.
