Instructions

- In another bowl, sift together cake flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the butter-sugar mixture along with cooled tea-infused milk until just combined.
- Divide batter evenly between prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool cakes in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks. For frosting, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form; spread between layers.
