  • 1 medium yellow onion, cut into wedges

  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  2. Place quartered tomatoes, onion wedges, and sliced garlic on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Toss to coat evenly.

  4. Let cool slightly, then transfer roasted veggies to a blender. Add vegetable broth and blend until smooth.
