  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the vegetables and mincing the garlic.
  2. Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.

  5. Stir in halved cherry tomatoes, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. Cook until tomatoes soften slightly.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet with reserved pasta water as needed for moisture. Mix well while incorporating Parmesan cheese until melted.
