  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk (whole or almond)
  • Sprinkles for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine chopped strawberries, sugar, and cornstarch. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Roll out one pie crust into a greased baking dish. Pour in the strawberry filling.
  4. Cover with another rolled-out pie crust, sealing edges by crimping.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Cool slightly before mixing icing sugar and milk for glazing. Drizzle over the pie, adding sprinkles if desired.
