Description

Celebrate summer with these vibrant Red, White, and Blue Deviled Eggs! Perfect for July 4th gatherings, these festive bites combine creamy yolk filling with colorful egg whites for a deliciously patriotic treat your guests will love.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon red gel food coloring
  • 1/2 teaspoon blue gel food coloring
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs in a pot covered with water over medium heat for 12 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit covered.
  2. Prepare an ice bath while the eggs are cooking. Once cooled, peel eggs under running water.
  3. Slice each egg in half lengthwise and scoop out yolks into a bowl. Mix yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Divide the egg whites into two bowls; tint one half with red food coloring and the other with blue.
  5. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture into each colored egg white half. Garnish with chopped chives or parsley.
